Читати повністю Exact replacement This replaced the exact same one I've had for years but felt it gave up the ghost as the pliers wouldn't work Apparently, the screws just needed to be tightened as I gave my old one to a coworker who fixed it. The "Bond" fits my needs perfectly.

Читати повністю Loving It! Got my Bond for Christmas for myself and have throughly enjoyed it. It was a little tight as are all the new Leatherman's these days but after some working it in it has been great. Bought it because I'll be going to Europe and needed something I can use in Italy for work where only multitools and non-locking knives are legal now days. But has been a lot of fun and extremely useful. Also, got the new Alpha Cascadia if you haven't pulled the trigger it is also a must buy.

Читати повністю Good and basic I like this tool very much, but it's actually not much of an upgrade over the American Camper multi-tool I found in a CO thrift shop for $5. This Bond is tight. It's difficult to open the tool. It makes for more effort even for little, quick tasks. And, the big blade doesn't lock out, so it's still just as unsafe as my $5 tool. I like my new durable sheath and, since work reimbursed me for this tool, I'm happy enough.
Читати повністю Great little multitool Love this thing!! I Keep a Leatherman surge in my car for bigger stuff and keep this in my pocket for my daily needs. I see people online complain about the knife being loose. Leatherman has 100% addressed this problem. The back end of the blade has a lobe on it which rides on a piece of metal essentially locking the blade in the shut position. The blade has resistance for the first half inch and than opens like normal. Really well done!!
Читати повністю I always buy from Leatherman. I always buy from Leatherman. I live in Pacific NW and like that most of the manufacturing is done here in Oregon/US. The tool is very good, but is stiff. It took me a month to work it in. Victorinox is NOT stiff out of the box. You should work any tool in before you send it out. I will continue to buy and recommend to buy from Leatherman, but, please, address this issue! I put 5 stars here after I did all this.

This was a gift and I absolutely loved it! It's an incredibly comfortable and portable tool, and it LOOKS ELEGANT. Just wish the pocket clip was included lost one of the screws trying to attach it having to buy the clip separately. Especially now the sheath are no longer included with the tools
Читати повністю Simple and Elegant The Bond is straight forward, simple multi-tool. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of Leatherman's other offerings. This is great if you suffer from decision fatigue, like I do.
The Pliers are not all that comfortable or ergonomic. However, if your expectation is that a 14 in 1 multi-tool is going to have the same ergo's as a dedicated plier than you might be dissapointed. Overall, for what it is, it's comfortable. I dream it was lighter but that desire stops at a dream. The reality of the tool is perfect the way it is.
What really impresses me is the aesthetic and design. It is a very "professional" looking tool. I'm a hardware store manager so I am part business, part warehouse worker. Useful in the dirty aspect of the job and elegant in the customer facing portion.
Very happy with my purchase.
Читати повністю Appreciated Gift Got this in a fun color way with custom text. Great look and field. Nice matching fabric sheath. Tool is stiff when new. I worked it it as best I could before gifting, but manufacturer could 'pre-loosen' a bit better.

The customization turned out great as well. I prefer the type where the knife is on the outside for easier access but he doesn't seem to mind.

Читати повністю Bond Review The Bond is just what I was looking for. I had a PST back in the 80’s which wasn’t returned from a borrower, and a PST II that got left in a car I sold. I wanted another PST, not one of the newer fancier ones. The Bond is like a ‘ relaxed fit’ PST. Just as good but more comfortable to use.
