Читати повністю Good sheath Like it better than the leather ones. Velcro models lose their closing ability. My last nylon sheath lasted about 4 years, then the sides ripped out causing me to temporarily lose my Surge Tool.

It’s way better to order with Amazon where you get it the next day. Leatherman really needs to improve how they ship!!!

Читати повністю Leatherman Nylon Sheath(s) Great sheath for most Leatherman models, as well as the common 4" to 5" folding knife (Buck 110 & similar). I'm a fan of the military-derived spring ring snap. It beats velcro closures in the field for a number of reasons. The slight expansion of Leatherman's new (very robust) elastic side panels offers benefits of durability and firm tool retention in comparison to other offerings on the market.
These "Color" sheath models do NOT have the "pocket" inside for the Leatherman tool bit stack magazine(s) like some of their sheath options. Another limitation that may be (or not be) of interest is that the belt attachment loop on the back of these sheaths will comfortably fit a thin 2" belt, but not a reinforced "side arm" belt wider than 1-3/4". For side-ways attachment to Molle, a slim attachment is essential, too. Otherwise, the user will have to use cordage lashing or braiding techniques for some mount and carry options.
For those who care about such details, the "Bronze" color is a shade darker than typical Coyote, and very close to the USMC Flat Dark Earth (FDE) color. The "Moss" color isn't too far from the old USAF Foliage (blue-green) color, is a shade of green lighter than the typical "Ranger Green" gear, but it blends okay with any of the common olive drab color variants. Unless you're in an official uniform, nobody is going to care, in my opinion.
Overall, the Color sheaths I've received are of robust materials, outstanding stitching, and should be great additions to your kit as well as mine. If they made these in mounted pairs, I'd buy some for. . . other. . . uses. Highly recommended.

Читати повністю Sturdy as all get out Leatherman has always made top notch products but I was pleasantly surprised to get a nice color too! The canvas is very strong and doesn’t fray or shred getting thrown around. The closing mechanism is strong too, and doesn’t randomly pop open, a very important feature.
