Solid, compact, all the essentials I carry a knife almost everywhere I go, and an Arc as part of my EDC, but I am not allowed a blade at work. This seemed like a no brainer. It doesn't get nearly the carry and use of the Arc (so far) but I am glad to have it as a part of my collection of daily tools at hand.

Читать полностью Excellent to have in my bag for work I’m a bus operator and I keep one of these in my bag as an everyday carry tool. So far I have used it to fix my water bottle(pliers), scrape gum off of a wheelchair ramp(flathead), and tighten random screws. Occasionally our seatbelts get jammed and I originally bought it for the pliers so I could fix that myself. I bought the knifeless version because my work doesn’t allow “weapons”. The quality is top notch and I’m really happy with it.

Читать полностью Perfect EDC Worth every penny, the knifeless Rebar is a great EDC, especially if you already carry a dedicated pocket knife and/or have to deal with laws or company policies restricting the carry of knives. I've owned mine for eight years and use it almost daily.

This has been a fantastic addition to my every day carry. my only complaint, would be that there are some hard edges on your palm when you are applying a ton of pressure. Other than that this is the perfect multitool where you do not need a knife.

Читать полностью Dependable I use this every day on a farm and it has never let me down. I have used this working on vehicles, fishing, and really anything you could think of. I have beat the crap out of it (it works great as a hammer) and it still looks brand new. I couldn't ask for better and I would recommend it to anyone who already carries a knife and doesn't need one on a multitool

Читать полностью unexpected uses I fix vending machines. I use the file, the screwdrivers, the scissors, and the pliers frequently. Today I used the can opener at home, unexpectedly. I can't find our can opener but I wanted to eat this can of chili. I thought maybe I could cut into the can using something on my Re-bar tool, and lo, it has a can opener in it! Awesome. Love dat chili.

I have some ADHD, so going to look for tools can derail me from a task completely. You know what else this thing really facilitates? Opening shipments and packaging.

Читать полностью Possibly the perfect multi-tool? I have a standard Rebar that has been my main multi-tool for years, But I wanted a knifeless model. I carry a pocket folder that is my primary knife, so I am not losing any functionality, and I can take this in locations that down allow knives. So for me the Rebar is perfect and tried and tested . . . and the knifeless Rebar is perfect ( . . . perfect-er?) and more versatile for my EDC

Читать полностью Great concept but be careful I bought this to carry around town as the country I live in does not allow locking knives on the streets. The concept is great however after many months of use with no issues, my Knifeless Rebar was confiscated by security at an event with the Prime Minister due to the saw. I did order a new one but I'm going to have to be more careful where I take it as it might not have a knife but in certain situations the saw will be counted.

Читать полностью Knifeless Rebar -- an excellent EDC on a pocket dangler Because I almost always carry a pocket knife and also wanted scissors for snipping tag ends / precise cutting and pliers to remove hooks when fishing and camping, I went with the knifeless rebar. It has a set of pliers more capable than my leatherman juice s2 and disappears in my pocket when using a pocket dangler. I've been carrying this tool more than my juice (which practically disappeared in my pocket when on a dangler) lately because the rebar is more capable and only slightly heaver than a juice S2. The form factor of the rebar makes it a better carry than my juice cs4 which was bulky in my pocket on a dangler. Given that the most useful tool is the one you have on you when you need it, the juice cs4 didn't meet my needs as I didn't enjoy pocket carry with a dangler. The main drawback to the rebar is that the tools are not as easily accessible as my free p2 (an even more capable multitool that can clip nicely to my pocket). In cold weather, the free p2 is my choice because the tools are on the outside and ingeniously designed such that I can get to them quickly even with gloves on. . . . not so much for the rebar. However, the rebar is smaller and lighter so is easier to carry in a pair of slacks as an edc. The only change I would make to the tool would be to add back the serrated blade (which would negate the knifeless principle but this thing already has a saw so I can't take it through TSA if I wanted). Sometimes it's nice to have a spare knife when I know the job will be rough on my dedicated folder. Because 420HC knives don't have the best edge retention, a truly sharp serrated blade will outlast plane edge in the same steel -- likely due to the increased cutting edge from the serration's curvature and higher pressure at the serration's teeth. Sharpening a serrated is a non issue given a triangle ceramic sharpeners are available for $8 -- just my 2 cents. All in all, it's an excellent tool and Leatherman's warranty reputation is amazing. You simply can't go wrong with a rebar.

Читать полностью Only the Best of the Best I chose the Bladeless Rebar because I wanted a multi tool I could carry everywhere, and that includes my job. I’m a Warehouse Associate for Amazon and there are no blades allowed. I haven’t even had my Leatherman for a month and I’ve used it almost every day. Had 2 other multi tools over the years, but being able to have one on my belt at work is a game changer. I doubt I will ever buy another multi tool again unless it’s a Leatherman.
The package came quickly and without problems. Packaging was simple, yet splendid. The free shipping was excellent also.
