Mostly my wave, but the super tool is the best for work as it has the best bits, and leverage. . . and weight amongst all! And the 300 m has a really cool and very useful tool set! Highly recommend!

Читати повністю Tool is good, order process badNot too bad It is difficult to tell what exactly comes with the tool. Looks like you need to order the bit driver and bits separately. I called to ask and they said it came with the bit driver, no bits. My order arrived and it did, indeed, have the bit driver, however, it also had a set of bits. Not the two sets that are pictured, just one. I still do not know what is supposed to come with it. The website order section shows that you need to order the bit driver and bits separately, but the tools included shows that you should get the bit driver too. The same picture does not show that a set of bits are included. All this slowed down my order process and made me second guess what I would be getting. This was a gift for my son who just completed Army boot camp and Advanced Individual Training, so I was concerned that I would not have a gift for him when he arrived home. Turned out fine, but the process was not as simple as it should have been.

Читати повністю Exactly what I wanted Chose this over a Surge. I wanted less bulk but still a plus sized tool. Less weight is a bonus too. It came with the bit set, an extender, and the molle sheath to round out the package.
What I gave up for my preferred form factor was fast opening outer tools, the saw and the scissors. Out of those things, the only thing I will miss is the saw.
Overall thrilled with the tool, which came out of the box perfect with respect to quality, blade sharpeness, plier opening and closing.

I purchase the super Tool 300 years ago, I am a Home improvement contractor and most of the time this is like my right hand, I have three, I thought I had lot my first tool so I purchase another one, found the first one in my sofa, never fall asleep with tools in your pocket, I purchase the 3rd because of the attachments, never leave home without them. One problem trying to pull the tools up with fat fingers is a task.

Читати повністю My 3rd Leatherman I got my first Leatherman in 1991 from a friend in the Special Forces, he had used it well and wouldn't have parted with it, but they were issued new ones with Blasting cap crimps. I had it for 10 years and gave it to a friend when I bought a new Leatherman Super tool. . . which I carried religiously until I lost it in a move a couple years ago. I just bought the New Super Tool 300M and it is magnificent. . . it is still the Leatherman, but little improvements that I didn't know it needed are nice, hope to have this one for another 20 years!
Читати повністю Super Tool 300M After my purchase of the Super Tool 300M, I have used the multi tool from everything to general household tasks to military firearms maintenance. As a small arms repair technician with the PA Army National Guard, the tools on the Super Tool 300M, are robust enough to dive deep into everything from rifle maintenance to a full on mortar rebuild. I love my multitool, and have several other Leatherman tools I carry every day. Honesty is the best policy however, and although I love the multitool, I do have some slight issues.
1. The multitool is very difficult to open and close. Im sure it will smooth out over time and wear, but it is a true two handed opening.
2. Tools on the bit driver side are incredibly tight. When I need to use the bit driver, it takes several tries/pulling out other tools first and then getting to what I want. I believe this is because of the thin lanyard loop they stack in there. The lanyard loop is VERY thin and bends easily, so the multitool would probably be better off without it.
All in all, I would absolutely not hesitate to purchase this multitool for any needs but specifically for firearms maintenance this tool goes above and beyond to give you a truly stable multitool with tools you'll actually use. Just fine expect to deploy the tools quickly.

Читати повністю Wonderful updated Leatherman I've relied on my basic stainless steel Leatherman purchased back in 1990 at Ft Benning while attending Airborne School and have relied on it to this day, so when two young people I know were headed off to serve as cadets (one at UT Austin ROTC, one to West Point), I knew what to get them. My godson, a 1LT in the Army, steered me to the 300M, with its specific tools for cleaning weapons. Perfect gift!

The pliers are impressive. I have cut 6 gauge copper wire.
The pliers head are also versatile. I can grab on small objects with precision .
Yet i can grab on to large bolts with significant force .
I like the tool implements that are included also.
If I could change it . I would add a saw instead of the serrated blade .
I would also like a more a larger main blade .
Читати повністю Battle Belt addition I put this tool on my battle belt for emergency use and weapon maintenance. Solid tool. Only suggestion: cut down or eliminate awl in favor of saw.
Читати повністю Great Do-it-all tool. This is a great tool and my primary go too. It is large, but has all the tools you need day to day. The quality is superb. I am not sure why an awl is so important. I like the ability to use a bit driver.

Everything in the tool is useful and even comes with a sight tool that doubles as normal 1/4” bit extender, and it comes with extra bits. It’s truly an awesome “multi tool”. Читати повністю Excellent MultiTool Nice tool. Wanted a leatherman with the pry bar and file to complement my older Charge. Awl is solid and the sight adjustment tool doubles as an bit extention. All the tools work great and are easy to open/close with a bit of oil and use. New black coating rubs off a bit (tool retains the color) but after a little cleaning the no longer a mess to work with. Everything I was looking for in a quality multitool!

Читати повністю Supertool 300M This is a pretty rugged tool with a great accessory in the bit extender/site tool. This is one of two choices Leatherman offers for firearms maintenance. While the tool set for the MUT seems more geared to the AF platform, the Supertool M seems more capable as a multi purpose tool. The slight changes from the base Supertool model to the M make a difference, but also allows everyday use. The extender/site tool was the reason I purchased the tool. Seemed like an all in one tool for the range. I also own a MUT and keep both in the range bag, but I also EDC the Supertool M unlike the mission centric MUT.
