Читати повністю Just the essentials, excellent fit and finish. I'm very pleased with this tool. It only weighs . 3 ounces more than my edc pocket knife. What this sacrifices in blade length it more than makes up for with the pliers and screw drivers. Fit and finish on this is exceptional especially for the price. The blade itself is razor sharp. A great minimalist tool!
Читати повністю A leatherman I can carry in my pocket! I love my original leatherman, but I normally just rotate an EDC single blade. In fact, my previous EDC was a single blade Leatherman. This one has now replaced it, because it takes up very little room, isn't obstructive in my pocket with the pocket clip, has thumb opener for the blade, and overall is just a great addition to my knife family.

Читати повністю The skeletool is a long The skeletool is a long time champion of ""most of what you need and nothing you don't. "" the blade is a nice combo serrated blade which IS a bit tougher to maintain and sharpen but offers good utility and retains the design choices of the skeletool that keep it light and minimal. The bit driver as usual is incredible and I highly recommend picking up a bit kit or two. I use it all the time. Everything is well thought through. Great EDC tool. The one thing I have to say is I wish this came at a slightly higher cost and had nicer pliers with replaceable wire cutters. Finally, the comfort of the grip in plier form leaves a bit to be desired, but overall for the price and form factor it's my favorite all time EDC tool. Great stuff.

Читати повністю I'm a long time Leatherman I'm a long time Leatherman Fan. I had one of the old-school ones when I was a kid (sadly, I lost it). I got a Wave a few years ago and it's been a beast for me.
My most recent addition to the family has been the Skeletool. While it doesn't have quite as many tools or as much functionality as the Wave, this little tool punches well above it's weight class. . . yes, weight. It's insanely light and I find that with the addition of the carabiner, the pocket clip, and the extra flat bit - I'm actually getting more carry time and use out of it than the Wave.

Читати повністю Probably the ideal multitool for Probably the ideal multitool for the majority of people (with the exception of lacking spring assisted pliers). I had a Gerber Multi Plier 600 issued to me by the Army in Iraq and Afghanistan. It had 14 tools, and including both combat tours I have lifetime used 6 of them - and it is terribly awkward to access the tools (which are on the inside). The chosen 7 tools on the skeletool are excellent. The one handed knife operation is excellent. I like the carabiner for clipping to a belt loop. The curved handle when open helps avoid accidentally pinching your fingers when using the pliers (which is an issue on non-spring assisted straight handle multitools). I do wish it had spring assist.
