Very substantial bead with a hidden feature I was pleasantly surprised by this lanyard bead. I expected a plastic bead, but it's heavy and feels like some kind of rock. And it also works as a driver for both Leatherman and standard 1/4" bits. Also, it comes with instructions for tying 4 types of lanyard knots.

Читать полностью Liked it. . . and it was free! I liked it. . . It was free with my order. I personally would probably never buy the Leatherman lanyard with bead, but there was a free one with Leatherman purchase so I got it. I am using it, I replaced the old leather shoelace on my Leatherman Micra with the free Lanyared with Bead. That worked out good.

Читать полностью Neat… This product originally was an included accessory with the Glider & Blazer knives. Good thing it is now being offered as a standalone accessory, otherwise I never would have tried it out. I plan on using this with whatever Leatherman multi-tool I choose for the day( Skeletool, Wave, Surge, Signal, Super Tool 300, Crunch, hell maybe even a Micra ). The neat thing about this accessory is the bead doubles as a bit driver for Leatherman flat bits & 1/4” hex bits. Like most, I see the redundancy in this accessory. Almost all the tools listed above I plan on using with this accessory, have a bit driver or equivalent built in( except the Super Tool 300 & Micra ). The Super Tool 300 can gain bit driver function by adding the Leatherman bit kit #3( $25 ).
Unless you’re replacing a lost Leatherman knife lanyard or are a Leatherman tools completist, I can’t suggest buying this accessory ( maybe if heavily discounted ). Neat, but not really needed/useful with most Leatherman multi-tools, except knives, Rev, Wingman, Sidekick etc. .
Читать полностью Handy Dandy Great little item! It's Handy whether you put it on your tool or your keys, it will disappear until that moment your in a tight spot or your just tired of walking back to the truck. Fit and finish are Dandy as well because it is comfortable to hold and use.
Читать полностью Bits don't seem to fit into the bead Recently got the Lanyard and Bead. Packaging is nice. It is a bit smaller than I expected which is nice. But I am having trouble getting flat bits to work. They won't slide through the smaller of the two slots on the bead, which means they wobble around. Is this the way it was designed? Also the finish on the bead is does not appear to be uniformly applied.

Читать полностью Big order I recently ordered the new wave alpha one of each for my family members for Christmas, got an email from LM stating my order was on Hold due to it being a “big” order? And they have to “verify” me lol. I've continued to support but if this happens again ill take my “big” orders somewhere else.
