Читать полностью Great EDC for me Great knife! I bought it as a replacement for my old Kershaw knife and I love it. It is a pretty thick knife in the pocket but the utility of the scissors, and package opener serve me well daily. The blade is fantastic, and the edge on it is razer sharp. It shaved the hairs off my arm out of the box. The one thing I wish they would add is an assist opening mechanism for the knife, but the action is plenty smooth so it is not a big deal.

The weight is heavier for a knife than most but can you always tell when it's NOT in your pocket. (For those of us that forget to check from time to time. ) Sharp blade and nice feel in yoir hand. You probably would use the scissors more than you think. Good gift to give. I have bought 4 so far. Both black and silver finish.

Читать полностью K4X Review This is a very solid piece of equipment. I really like the overall construction of this knife. The heft in my hand feels really good when the blade is extended, and the blade is really sharp at the edge, and is thick enough to be sturdy for general use. The locking mechanism seems a lot sturdier than the liner locks I have been using. The tools in the back are nice as well, with no wobbling involved. The action for the knife is a bit stiff, and I found that the pocket clip hit my hand uncomfortably when I held it just out of the box, but when I moved it to the other side of the knife, that worked well. I also loosened up the action using the Torx screws holding the knife together. Overall a lovely bit of kit.

Читать полностью Love it…so did my husband. . . I use the Free series because I can actually open them without breaking finger nails or fingers. None of the other Leatherman’s can offer me that same level of ease. Oh, and my husband liked the knife so much, he now is in possession of it. Don’t worry. He let me have one of his Free knives.
Oh, and altho this knife and the other Free are “normal” size, I am not. Five foot nothing in height. Hands the size of a fourth grader’s.

Читать полностью All leathermans are great knives All leathermans are great knives the only problem I’ve ever had with (multiple leathermans) is the pocket clip catching on different things and that’s how I’ve lost 2. Never had a pocket knife so sharp from the factory!

My only complaint is that it is hard to get the scissors out. You have to pull out all the other accessories and then try to dig it out.

Читать полностью Everyday Carry The tools are of excellent quality. I carry this pretty much everywhere and it fits in all type of clothing, including scrubs. It is a very handy size and shape so it doesn’t cause any issues when pulling it out or putting it away. The blade is incredibly sharp and doesn’t dull easily. I would recommend this to everyone wanting a knife that has some added bonuses.

Читать полностью Free K4X Coming from my second C33TX I wanted something bigger with more tools. This fits the need. I love this tool. I carry it everyday, clips on the inside of my pocket and I don't even notice it. I'm always tightening screws around work and home, its just nice to have it on you instead of looking for a screwdriver. The scissors have come in handy on more than 1 occasion.

Читать полностью Leatherman Free K4 I was tired of having to buy a new knife once or twice a year because of them breaking or becoming so dull (even after trying to sharpen) normally for around the same price I paid for this knife and I think this one will last much much longer. I use a knife several times a day to cut mostly rope or plastic zip ties among many other things at work and beyond. I love my Leatherman multi tools (I have had some for decades) but they are to big to clip to my pocket like I want/need. This is a high quality knife and so sharp I couldn't believe how well it cut even the thickest material the last several weeks since it arrived. The only minor complaints I have is, It was very difficult to open the tools (and a little bit hard to open the knife) at first but it has definitely gotten easier, the only other thing is that the etchings on both sides of the knife "hold" dirt doesn't look very good.
