Читати повністю Not my first time buying- I love the raptor. So much- this isn’t my first time buying! I’m very happy to get my hands on a limited edition. Not for resale like those eBay hacks, but so I can something striking TO USE! If I had a glow-in-the-dark handle I’d be over the moon.
I’ve had to use 3 times in patients for clothing that interfered with treatment that couldn’t be removed efficiently and about 5 times around the house when I needed a decent tool. 5 stars every single time. Great tool, still tight, grips are comfortable, window punch doubles for package opener and patient subdoer, and sharper than ever. I am looking forward to using my pretty raptors for years to come.

It now in my kitchen utility drawer. The handles easily fit my XXL hands, and easily opens packaging and cut twine when needed. The standard scissor are now in the junk box in the garage.

Читати повністю Good shears I use these for working medical at a prison and the shears are great to have on my belt. Better than a non-folding shears, and the extra couple tools are good to have just in case. The holster could be nicer but I bought a leather one off Etsy that I like.

Читати повністю Raptor Rescue to use with IFAK I purchased the Raptor Rescue to use along with a IFAK. The quality of Raptor is excellent. It is easy to operate and the tools are well thought out. The hard plastic holster holds the Raptor very well in closed or open configuration. It would be better to have an option of a ballistic nylon type of holster with a velcro and MOLLE compatibility so that it could be carried on tactical vests, plate carriers or tactical belt.

Читати повністю Can never be too prepared After making an emergency kit 15 years ago, I thought it was time to refresh things. I put together a class B first aid/trauma kit for home/on the go and thought it was essential to have the right tool just in case. I've seen a lot of generic versions but have had a good experience with prior Leatherman tools and decided to get an official Raptor Rescue. The tool is very intuitive. The glass breaker, with the seatbelt cutter are a plus as I intended on having this with me especially on road trips.
I have not done the coin test.
I chose the case that works with a molle system. I paired this with the 511 UCR Sling Pack and have it positioned in the back pocket connected to the internal strap. This is also where I keep one of my Waves. It also allows me to quick swap to other bags I have with molle.

Читати повністю Fire fighter nephew deserves a great gift! My nephew is graduating from a fire fighting EMT academy soon and will do so as the top of his class. In addition to the hard work and dedication, he has developed a set of skills that may save lives. He deserves a quality pair of customized paramedic shears. The quality of my delivery blew my mind and exceeded my expectations. I cannot wait to gift these to him at his graduation. I’ll tell him, when he uses them, it will be stressful and possibly really gnarly. Knowing his aunt is right there as he sees his own monogram, I pray, will help ease his nerves and remind him of the amazing service he is providing. I’m proud to give these Leatherman shears to my future fire fighter/ EMT nephew. Nice work to the Leatherman Team.
Читати повністю I do landscaping and bought I do landscaping and bought these for general use. Work great for landscape fabric, tubing, twine and prining small growth. Leatherman needs to design the same folding design with the curved pruning shears to cut up to 3/4"-1" branches. Jist change the blade design and you open up to a whole new market. Do it. Leave the glass breaker because you never know. Instead of the fold out seat belt cutter, make it the flared flat head screwdriver tool for adjusting most rotary sprinkler heads. Also, make it stainless steel. Do it. We dont want fancy looking fixed blade knives. Make practical and convenient tools.

Читати повністю Very pleased, high quality tool Wanted a cutting tool that was compact, durable and could be carried attached to MOLLE equipment while on small boats. These shears meet all my requirements. Quality is what I have come to expect from Leatherman, the holster attached securely to molle webbing and when folded the tool is out of the way with all sharp edges hidden.
